Towards Sustainable Agriculture Led by Women in Sinjar
As part of the Green Sisters project, Hanasay New Organization collected soil and water samples from the lands of 60 women farmers in Sinjar. These were analysed by a certified agricultural laboratory to identify the most climate-resilient crop varieties — resistant to drought, heat, salinity, and pests.
This activity was implemented with support from the Field Support Services Project – Middle East, executed by Cowater International, and funded by Global Affairs Canada.
