01
Community workshop, Erbil
Convening with women community leaders.
On-the-ground convening with women leaders to map local protection priorities and co-design accountable response systems. Erbil is our headquarters — the room where strategy meets the people it’s built for.
02
Reforestation drive
Climate action where it’s needed most.
Volunteers and staff plant native saplings as part of our climate-action programme — restoring forest cover where it has been lost, and giving women and youth a leadership role in environmental advocacy.
03
Youth leadership program
A new generation of changemakers.
Equipping young Iraqis aged 8–60 with leadership, advocacy, and digital-literacy skills to step into civic life. We invest in the people who will carry the work forward.
04
WPS roundtable
Resolution 1325 in practice.
Civil-society leaders, government partners, and women-led organizations meet to amplify women’s voice in decision-making and advance the Women, Peace, and Security agenda across Iraq.
05
Baghdad conference
Women, peace, and security at scale.
Hosting national stakeholders to discuss women’s role in peace processes, conflict resolution, and post-conflict recovery — advancing gender equality and the implementation of UNSCR 1325.
06
Field visit, Sinjar
With displaced families.
Direct programming with displaced communities — protection support, mental-health and psychosocial care, and pathways to recovery for women and families rebuilding after conflict.
07
MHPSS support group
Care that follows the trauma.
Mental-health and psychosocial support sessions held with families affected by conflict, alongside local clinicians. We meet people where they are, with the care they need.
08
Disability inclusion
No one left behind.
Programming and training designed to ensure people with disabilities are not left behind in Iraq’s recovery and resilience efforts — a commitment we have carried since 2019.
