Hanasay New Organization completed the quarterly meetings of the Climate-Smart Agriculture Working Groups in Sinjar–Nineveh, engaging 40 participants (28 women and 12 men) to advance climate adaptation and agricultural sustainability in Nineveh.

The meetings brought together representatives from the Women’s Affairs Division, the Nineveh Agriculture Department, agricultural advisors, local authorities, and Civil Society Organisations. Discussions focused on progress in climate-smart agriculture adoption, addressing field-level challenges, and strengthening practical solutions for water management, soil health, and community resilience.

This activity is implemented under the Middle East Field Support Services Project / Cowater International, which is funded by Global Affairs Canada.
