Climate Action
Champions Climate Action and Women's Empowerment in Iraq through Reforestation and Advocacy
Ranked as the fifth most vulnerable country to climate change, Iraq faces significant environmental challenges. Hanasay New, an Iraqi feminist organization formed by young activists aged 8–60, has been at the forefront of reforestation, advocacy for women's rights, and environmental sustainability since 2015.
